Maker Faire is returning with full force. After a three year break, the DTLA Mini Maker Faire is finally returning to Los Angeles, and there’s nothing mini about it!
The Los Angeles Public Library and the Columbia Memorial Space Center are joining forces with the City of STEM Festival to bring you the 2023 Los Angeles (LA) Maker Faire, the largest Maker and STEM extravaganza in L.A.
The LA Maker Faire is a free event and will take place on April 1, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, a centrally located, family friendly, and accessible venue where we can accommodate hundreds of Maker booths and every curious mind who is excited and passionate about making.
If you have a do-it-yourself (or do-it-together) spirit and want to share your work with a curious and engaged audience then apply to be a Maker today. We encourage all Makers, from startups and science clubs to inventors and artists to apply.
Here is a sampling of projects we are looking for this year:
Deadline to submit is January 23, 2023. Apply on our official call for makers page.
The Los Angeles Public Library is committed to helping build an equitable and inclusive Maker culture that advances the Maker economy, strengthens the talent pipeline, and embraces science, technology, engineering, art, and math to create a Maker-friendly and STEAM-y Los Angeles.
