Southern California Home Shop Machinists

Southern California Home Shop Machinists (SCHSM) is a group of amateur machinists who share projects, exchange ideas, information, techniques, and sources of tools and supplies, and have fun informing people about our hobby. Our members have knowledge and experience in many aspects of machining, including milling, turning (lathe work), plasma cutting, and metal casting. We volunteer to make parts for several fellow hobbyists, including rocketry, robotics, 3D printing, and old engine restoration. We enjoy attending shows, showing off our projects, answering questions, and engaging in lively discussions.
