The National Museum of the Surface Navy at Battleship IOWA is a 501(c)3 non-profit driven to ignite curiosity, connect communities, and enhance understanding of America's role in maritime peace and prosperity. Located in the Port of LA, the ship is surrounded by maritime trade that is dependent on free and open access to the world's oceans. The museum offers both self-guided and guided tours to the general public and serves as a field trip destination for educational STEM and history programming. The ship also hosts private, community, and military veteran events.
