Rock N' Roll Robots is an all-girls FIRST Tech Challenge team from Pasadena that loves sharing our passion for robotics. Experience driving a FTC competition robot and Sphero robot to score game elements and traverse an obstacle course!

Rock N' Roll Robots

Rock N' Roll Robots is an all-girls, community-based robotics team from Pasadena, consisting of girls from grades 7-12. We participate in FIRST Tech Challenge, a branch of FIRST robotics, a global community providing robotics opportunities for K-12 students through competitions. We design, build, and program a robot suited to each year's game, but we also appreciate that FIRST is much more than robots - we love connecting with our community through STEM workshops and events and providing accessible robotics opportunities to youth, as well as reaching out to industry professionals to share about FIRST while gaining valuable insights from them. We are so excited to showcase our robot and share our passion for robotics!

For makers, what inspired you to make this project?
As an all-girls robotics team of middle and high schoolers, we are passionate about providing accessible opportunities to get more students involved in STEAM and robotics. We all love working together to design, build, and program a new robot each season, and we meet so many other students in the FIRST community, whether through partnership or mentorship.
