Society of Women Engineers Los Angeles

The Society of Women Engineers is a non-profit, educational, service organization dedicated to supporting women engineers and encouraging young women to consider an engineering education. The Los Angeles Section, with over 900 members, is one of the largest of the Society’s 400+ sections. Our community is structured into three main themes – Professional Development, Outreach (K-12; Collegiate; Graduate/Academia), and Member Engagement. Our mission is to empower women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion.
